本 (sorry, Japanese only) [中国武漢の生活]
昨年末に一時帰国した際、文庫本二冊を買いました。
何となくですが、結構売れてますよ、という説明につられて買ったのが「ビブリア古書堂の事件手帖」の１と２。
内容は、本にめちゃくちゃ詳しい古本屋の若い女性店主さんと、就職浪人中の主人公の物語なのですが、この本を読んで、自分が武漢に持って来たすべての本の版次などを調べてしまいました。
今回の駐在では日本からあまり本を持ってこなかったつもりでしたが、まとめてみると、結構ありますね。武漢に来てから、かなりの文庫本小説を他の人にあげたりしてしまいましたが、それでもこの他にも小さな段ボールに文庫本がいっぱい入っています。
本文に出てくる"落穂拾ひ・聖アンデルセン"（小山清）という本に書かれている、
「何かの役に立つといふことを抜きにして、僕達がお互ひに必要とし合ふ間柄になれたら、どんなにいいことだらう」
という言葉がとっても心に残りました。
本をいっそう大切にしようとする気になった小説でした。

大晦日 (Lunar New Year's Eve) [中国武漢の生活]
本日は春節（旧正月）の大晦日です。明日が今年の旧正月。
今日は日曜日なので教会に行きましたが、気温はマイナス3℃。風が吹いていたので体感温度はマイナス5℃。寒かったですよー。
不思議なのは、教会に入って目をつぶったとき、粉雪が降っている情景が浮かんできました。昨日まで降っていた雪がやんでいたのに、教会から外に出ると、また粉雪が。不思議ですね。
Today is the Lunar New Year's Eve. Tomorrow is just Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year).
I went to the church because of Sunday, but felt very cold, the temperature was -3℃, sensory temperature was -5℃ with wind.
When I prayed, I saw the scene of snowfall in meditation even though snow has already stopped falling. However, snow fell again when I went out from the church. It was very mysterious......
私が住んでいいる辺り。旧正月に備えてお店はぜんぶお休み。

大売出し (SALE !) [中国武漢の生活]
中国では(春節)旧正月を控えて、年末大売出しの季節です。
武漢の漢江路歩行街は、衣類を中心としたちょっと洒落たお店が集まる歩行者専用の道路です。
ここでは大売出しの真っ最中。
It is a season of SALE for everything for preparing the Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year) in China.
23rd of January is New Year's Day in this year.
Hanjiang road of Wuhan city is a pedestrian precinct for shopping with some famous brand shops.
Every shop of this street is in "Sale".

武漢の鉄道 （Railway in Wuhan City） [中国武漢の生活]
武漢という町は湖北省の省都なので、結構大きいです。
内陸の田舎的大都市という感じですが、建設ラッシュですし、地下鉄も作ってます。その地下鉄に先駆けてLRTというか高架電車が走っています。
Wuhan City is the capital of Hubei province, very big city, and it has many public construction project including metro. There is one LRT line of metro (it is not under ground) at present.
車両は結構モダンな感じ。第三軌条方式ですね。
The train is very modern with third rail pick up type.
これが切符。自動販売機で出てきます。
自動改札でこれをくっつけると入場OK。
出るときは、自動改札の穴の中へ投入すると出口が開きます。
初乗り価格は1.5元（約20円）

We can enter to the platform putting it on the gate.
The base charge for shortest distance is RMB1.5 (about US$0.23).
どこかで見たようなポスター。
このポスターは、いわゆる"迷惑行為をヤメましょう"のポスターなのですが、これって、東京メトロの各駅に貼ってあるものを、デザインもぜーんぶそのままパクって、文字だけ中国語と英語を書いただけですね。

内陸の田舎的大都市という感じですが、建設ラッシュですし、地下鉄も作ってます。その地下鉄に先駆けてLRTというか高架電車が走っています。

お酒 (Liquor) [中国武漢の生活]
中国のしかも武漢という日本人があまりいない町で生活していると、夜や休日はあまりやることがないので、私の場合はどうしてもお酒を飲む方向に行ってしまいます。
他の日本人の方々はゴルフをしたり、公園に散歩に行かれたりしているのでしょうが、他の会社の日本人との交流が、会社のロケーションの関係でほとんどないので、ご一緒することはありません。
というわけで、家飲みはこれらスコッチウイスキーのシングルモルト。

There are not many Japanese people in Wuhan city, I have not so much opportunity to play golf or walking in the park with other Japanese people, because my factory's location is very far from other Japanese joint venture companies.
Then, my pleasure in the night and holiday is just "drinking", especially Scotch Single Molt Whiskey which very beautiful bartenderess taught me when I was in Kyushu.

他の日本人の方々はゴルフをしたり、公園に散歩に行かれたりしているのでしょうが、他の会社の日本人との交流が、会社のロケーションの関係でほとんどないので、ご一緒することはありません。

帰国 (back to Japan during New Year Holidays) [中国武漢の生活]
年末年始はさすがに日本へ帰国。
久しぶりに女房とネコたちと過ごしました。
大晦日から正月にかけては、おトソならぬワイン。鋼鉄の撃墜王 Huber Kipfenbergの愛した"Steinberger"をいただきました。
I came back to Japan during Year end and New Year Holidays, had peaceful days with wife and cats.
We drunk German wine instead of Sake, "Steinberger" which Commander Huber Kipfenberg loved.
久しぶりに女房とネコたちと過ごしました。
大晦日から正月にかけては、おトソならぬワイン。鋼鉄の撃墜王 Huber Kipfenbergの愛した"Steinberger"をいただきました。

武漢の教会 (Church in Wuhan) [中国武漢の生活]
最近嫌なことや苦労が多いので、クリスマスには教会に行きました。
武漢のカトリック教会は漢口区（正確には漢江区）、武昌区、漢陽区の大きな地域にそれぞれ一つずつあります。
私が行ったのは、今住んでいるところから歩いて約１時間の漢江区のセント・ヨセフ教会。設立は1876年と、歴史のある教会です。
途中にプロテスタントの教会もあります。無錫のときもそうでしたが、庭でたくさんの子供たちが遊んでいたりしてにぎやか。カトリック教会のほうはどちらかというとおごそか。
I have many disgusting and trouble matters both in the private and business recently, then I visited the church on Christmas.
There is a Chatholic church in each district of Hankou, Wuchang and Hanyang.
The church which I visited on this Christmas is St.Joseph church, it is located in about 1 hour from my residence on foot. It was established in 1876, has long history.
On the way from my residence to the church, I found out the Protestant chuch also. Generally, the Protestant church is lively with children, and the Catholic church is solemn.

武漢での生活は結構厳しいです。
仕事もですが、生活面でも日本人一人ですし。
よりどころは、博多時代の美人バーテンダーに教えてもらったシングルモルト、マリア様、そして最愛の妹ですね。

The business is, of course, very hard, and only one Japanese in the joint venture company.
My strength is "Single Molt Whisky" by a cute and beautiful bartenderess in Fukuoka who taught me the taste of single molt, Blessed Virgin Mary, and my lovely younger sister.
仕事もですが、生活面でも日本人一人ですし。
よりどころは、博多時代の美人バーテンダーに教えてもらったシングルモルト、マリア様、そして最愛の妹ですね。

無錫のお食事２ [中国武漢の生活]
外出中にちょっといいレストランで昼食を食べました。
今回は３人で２菜（おかず）、１湯（スープ）、それとチャーハン。
やはり家常菜（家庭料理）ですね。
豆から作った豆腐というかカマボコみたいなものと牛のモツの炒め物。ちょっと辛い。
武漢特産の"菜苔"という野菜の炒め物。
キノコのスープ。
これらにチャーハンをプラスして、全部で150元。三人で食べたので一人50元だから、ちょっと豪華な昼食でした。工場で食べるとだいたい白飯の上におかずをのっけた、ぶっかけごはんですから、外食は豪華に見えちゃいます。

There are 2 dishes, 1 soup and fried rice. Those are simple dishes like home cooking, too.

Photo 2 : stir-fried vegitable named "Cai Tai" which is a special product in Wuhan area.

The cost is about 150 Yuan (about US$22) for 2 dishes, 1 soup and fried rice. It should be a little bit expensive for 3 people lunch, and much better than factory lunch.

もうすぐクリスマス (Christmas soon) [中国武漢の生活]
もうすぐクリスマスですね。
先週は香港と東莞へ出張していましたが、帰りの香港空港でサンタ風の赤い服を着た空港スタッフが、「施設の子供たちのためのドネーション（寄付）をお願いします」と行ってきました。
うーん、香港ドルはもう持ってないんだけど、と答えると、Any currency OKとのこと。人民元で100元（約1,200円）奮発しました。
そしたら写真のようなお土産をくれました。中身はキャンディー。
今住んでいる武漢にもカトリック教会があります。
写真は合弁会社のある漢陽区のカトリック教会。中国のカトリック教会はローマカトリックからは破門されちゃっているんですよね。チベットの指導者ダライラマ14世が亡命して、中国政府が勝手に宗教的指導者パンチェンラマ11世を指名しちゃっているのと同じように、中国のカトリック神父も中国政府が決めちゃったものです。
なんだか複雑ですね。

I had no more Hong Kong dollar but she could accept any kind of currency. Then I donated RMB100, she gave me a Christmas present of red pouch with some candies.
There is a Catholic church in Hanyang district, Wuhan city where I works in a joint venture company in China. China Catholic was expelled from Rome Catholic, and the Fathers are appointed by China government.
