無錫から香港、東莞、武漢そして再び神楽坂の日々

4月19日に帰国して以来、東京の生活です。

日本は現在ゴールデンウィーク真っ最中。前半は福岡の家族のところへ行って、後半は伊豆長岡の両親のところに来ています。

今日はいいお天気で、伊豆長岡の両親の家からはきれいな富士山が見えています。

I lives in Tokyo since I have been back to Japan.

Now Japan is in "Golden Week", vacation period. I visited to Fukuoka to see my family and cats in first half of this week and now am in my parents home in Izu Nagaoka.

It is very fine day and we can see very beautiful Mt.Fuji from my parents home.

4月19日に帰国し、神楽坂の会社のワンルームマンションに入りました。
翌日の20日から早速出社しています。

部署も変わりましたが、なんだか便利屋としてこき使われているような気がします。中国語が使えて、事業会社の経験があって、しかも会社清算とか中国の政府関係者と交渉したことがある、ということで、使い勝手がいいのかもしれません。

自分で言うのもなんですが、仕事はするけど出世しませんねぇ。
東京でものんびりできそうもありません。

I was back to Japan on 19, April, and have started the life at an apartment in Kagurazaka arranged by the company.
And I have worked since 20, April.

Belonging department was changed, but I feel I am very convenient person for every department. Because I speak Chinese, have an working experience in subsidiary or joint venture company, have negotiated with Chinese government, so I am very useful staff.

Even though I work very hard everywhere and every situation but I would not been promoted to upper position.

I will report Kagurazaka life in this blog from next time onward.

本日の朝の便で、武漢→上海へと移動しました。
上海では会社の上海事務所（法人としては上海会社）の社長（実は同期入社）と打合せをして、武漢の事業会社の現状を報告。彼は後始末も私にやってもらいたいような感じでしたが、まぁ、これはまた別の話ですね。

明日（4月19日）の便で東京へ帰ります。また神楽坂に住みます。

I moved from Wuhan to Shanghai by this morning flight.
In Shanghai, I had meeting with our company's Shanghai office to report the recent situation of Wuhan joint venture company. The managing director of Shanghai office (he was enter the company in same time with me) suggested that he wish me to close this project because he knows I am the specialist of closing subsidiary, but this is another story after I go back to Japan.

I will go back to Tokyo by tomorrow's flight from Shanghai, and will live in Kagurazaka, Tokyo.

This is the sight of a lane which is my hotel's neighborhood.




古いアパートの密集地帯ですが、それにしてもこの電線じゃあ、どれが何の線だかわからないでしょうねぇ。

This area is thickly settled old small apartments. Even so many people live in this area, there are too many cable, it is very difficult to judge which cable is electric power, telephone, internet or others.....

福岡の留守宅で、女房とお留守番をしている猫たちのうちの一匹「みゅみゅみゅ」です。

ここ数日、ちょっと元気がなく、食事もあまり食べなくなった「みゅみゅみゅ」でしたが、急に息が荒くなり、歩くのも大変そうだったと。

15日夜に女房から電話があり、もうダメかもしれないから、電話で声をかけてあげて、と言われたので、やさしく声をかけてあげました。
いつもは「にゃ～」と声を返すのですが、このときは鳴く元気もあまりなかったそう。でも目を見開いて、耳を動かしながら私の声を聴いていたようです。

16日の午前１時半ころ、女房がベッドで横になっていると、隣の部屋のソファで寝ていたみゅみゅみゅがベッドに上ってきて、女房の顔のところまで来て「ありがとう」と言っているようで、その後腕のところでまるくなって静かに逝ったそうです。

私たちが結婚して、もも、わたろうに次いで拾ってきたネコでした。カラスなどに狙われて怖い思いをしたせいか、いつも「みゅー、みゅー」鳴いて自己主張してたので名前が「みゅみゅみゅ」。

もう20歳だったので、人間でいえば100歳以上。長生きしただけでなく、ほかの猫たちにもやさしかったです。

女房も体調を崩して入院する予定なのですが、その日にちにかかって迷惑をかけないように逝ったのかもしれません。
最後までやさしい猫でした。




This cat is named "Myumyumyu", who is one of my cats in Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan with my wife.

She had not been in good condition, eaten cat foods very small and gasped for breath for this few days.
I received phone call from my wife, she said "Myumyumyu is now very bad, will not be able to keep the life, so please call her".
Then I call her name by phone.
Myumyumyu usually reply "mew〜" for my call, but now answer in this time, she seemed very hard to mew, but my wife said Myumyumyu listened my call in her ear carefully.

When my wife lied on the bed around 1:30 AM on 16/March, Myumyumyu came to bedside to say 'Thank you for long time together', and lied down to my wife's arm, the went to the Heaven.....

Myumyumyu is third cat coming to my home after I and my wife married. She was a stray cat being attacked by crows, so always mewed because of such scary experience.
It is why her name is "Myumyumyu".

She was 20 years old, it means over 100 years old if she is human. She was not only healthy but also very tender for other cats.

I think Myumyumyu went to the Heaven early, did not like to trouble my wife because my wife prepared to enter hospital with her sick with in couple of days.

Myumyumyu was also very tender for us until her last.

先週の日曜日、いつものように住んでいるところから歩いて教会へ行く途中の道です。

This is the way to church from my residence, I found it when I went to church last Sunday.

"大家"は大家さんのことではなく、みなさんという意味です。

よく見ると、たしかに建物の装飾壁の部分が剥がれて傾斜しています。上部から圧がかかったのかなぁ。それにしてもこりゃ危ないですな。建物自体が傾いていなくてよかった。
他の地域ではビル全体が傾いちゃったなんていうニュースもありましたね。

I could find out the decorated wall came off from the building and was inclination. It might be pressured from the top.
Anyway, this situation is very dangerous, luckily the building itself seems not to have any problem. I have watched the news which a apartment itself was inclination in China other area before.

武漢の町で休日よく見かけるハデな装飾をほどこした車。
実は結婚披露走行です。(笑)
新郎新婦を乗せて家から結婚式場（中国の場合は宴会をするところ）へ行きます。先日は教会でも見かけました。一台だけではなく、家族を乗せた車もリボンなどで飾って車列を組んで走行します。みんなにお披露目の走行なんですが、どんな新郎新婦なんだろうと信号待ちのときに見ても、肝心の車がスモークウインドウなので中が見えません。(笑)

We can see the much decorated car in Wuhan on almost every weekend.
It is a "Just married" announcement running.
The bride and groom move from their house to the ceremony place (banquet place) on this car. I saw such kind of cars at the church. This kind of car is not only one car but several cars decorated with ribbon and colored tape made convoy for new couple's families. I think this running is marriage announcement for everyone, but we can not see the bride and groom on the car because of smoked window of the luxury car......(^^)

中国にいると、ときどき日本では見られない商売を見ることができます。

We can see some funny business in China which are difficult to see in Japan.

一目で何の商売かわかるのですが、どうもその売り方が。

It is very clear to under stand which kind of business at glance, but the stye is funny.

小鳥を売っています。みんなで集まって自分の小鳥の鳴き声自慢。
Selling little birds. Some maniacs gather to boast own bird's singing.

4月1日付の辞令で、日本に帰国することになりました。
武漢へ赴任する辞令が出たのが昨年6月ですから、9ヶ月あまりの武漢生活でしたね。

なんでこんなに早く帰国することになったかというと、別に私が中国で犯罪を犯したわけでも、合弁会社の中国側パートナーに嫌われたわけでもありません。それどころか、中国側からは「帰るのは許さん！」と言われるくらい、幸か不幸か気に入られています。
顧問弁護士からも「中国の経験が豊富で、事業や文化をよく理解しているのだから、帰国するのは残念」とありがたいお言葉。

じゃあ、なぜかというと、私の日本の会社が合弁事業から撤退することを決めたからです。
うーん、事業が発足してから1年しか経っていないのに撤退ですからねぇ。私は最初からこのプロジェクトに参加していたわけではなく、途中から「他に人がいないので、お前が武漢に行ってくれ」と言われて武漢に赴任したのですが、このプロジェクトは元々無理があると常々言っていました。それが現実になってしまいました。

というわけで、4月の中旬か下旬には帰国します。
でも、本当の苦労はこれからで、中国の事業から撤退する（資金を引き上げたり、合弁登録の外国企業投資分を抹消をしたり）のはものすごく大変です。なにせすべて政府の許認可項目。つまり政府のお役人がメンツがあるから出て行っちゃダメ、と言えばどうにもならなくなります。
この交渉はとりあえず東京の他の人がやることになっていて、私がやることはないのですが、その担当者は中国関係はあまりベテランではなく、しかも中国語はできない、役所との交渉もやったことない、となると、下手するとまた私にお鉢が回って来る可能性も全くないわけではありません。
そうなったらやだなぁ............

I will move back to Japan in April according to the Japanese company order.
Original company order for moving to Wuhan was last June, so my Wuhan life is only 9 months.

The reason why I should move back to Japan so early is not that I committed some crime or Chinese partner company of the joint venture company dislike me. I am, rather, welcome by per toner company's order and all of employees in the joint venture company.
The legal adviser also tells me she is very sorry for my leaving Wuhan, because she feels I well understand China culture, enterprise and have many experience.

Then, the reason why I move back to Japan is that my Japanese company decided to quit from this joint venture project.
This joint venture company has just start since last March, it is too fast for Japanese company to give up this business. It may be blamed that plan for this business is superficial.

When I was ordered to move to Wuhan, a person in charge of this project requested me to create this business even though I did not participate it at that time. Before I move to Wuhan, I felt this project originally had some problems, then they came true.

Then, I will move back to Tokyo in April. And the work of exit from this joint venture will be done by other people in Tokyo instead of me. However, as everyone knows, the investment quit from China market or company is very very difficult, it is the China government approval item. Officers of China government do not like to loose face by the foreign company exit from China investment business..........
The negotiation with the partner company and government agents will be vary hard, but it is not my job at present. But I am afraid that I should take care of winding up this business by company order again if the exit task is too difficult for other Japanese people...........

中国のお菓子はあまり美味しくありません。
町のケーキ屋さんやホテルのケーキなどは味はまぁまぁですが、クリームが全部バタークリーム。
これがまたねっとりしていて美味しくないんです。

ところが、この中国の内陸都市の武漢で日本風ケーキ屋さんを展開している日本人の方がいらっしゃいます。ホテルの日本人スタッフの方にお店を紹介してもらってさっそく行ってきました。

Cakes and sweets in China are not delicious.
Their taste of Cake shop or hotel in the city is moderate, but all cream on the cake is not fresh cream but butter cream. Those are too sticky........

But I heard a Japanese family opens Japanese style cake shop in Wuhan such inland country side city. I visited them last weekend with the recommendation by my hotel's Japanese staff.





このお店は私のホテルから一番近い支店。
すでに4軒もお店を開いています。
This shop is the most nearest branch shop of them.
They have already had 4 branches in Wuhan.




パッケージも完全に日本のケーキ屋さんと同じ。
The package is just same style as Japanese cake shops.





購入したチョコレートケーキ、ショートケーキ、エクレア。
どれも美味しかったです。もちろんクリームは生クリーム。
Chocolate cake, strawberry cake and eclair.
All of them are very very delicious. Of course, cream is fresh cream instead of butter cream.
